Welcome to Trabahanap (the "Platform"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Trabahanap website and mobile services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing, registering, browsing, posting, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Trabahanap is a platform that connects:
- Job Seekers / Workers — individuals offering home services (repairs, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.)
- Homeowners / Clients — individuals or households looking to hire such services
The platform provides tools for:
- Posting and browsing job requests/offers
- Direct messaging and negotiation between users
- Confirming job completion
- Leaving mutual ratings and reviews
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- One account per person. Impersonation or multiple accounts for the same individual is prohibited.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. User Conduct – Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or spam other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect personal information from others without consent
- Post viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Circumvent or interfere with platform security or functionality
5. Jobs, Negotiations & Agreements
- All job descriptions, prices, timelines, and payment terms are agreed directly between the homeowner and worker.
- Trabahanap is not a party to any contract between users.
- Users are solely responsible for complying with Philippine laws (including labor, taxation, safety, and consumer protection laws).
- Any disputes between users must be resolved directly between them.
6. Ratings and Reviews
- After job completion, both parties may leave a star rating (1–5) and written review.
- Ratings and reviews reflect personal opinions only.
- We may remove content that is abusive, irrelevant, spam, or violates these Terms.
- By posting a review, you grant Trabahanap a perpetual, royalty-free license to display it on the platform.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Users are who they claim to be
- Any job will be completed safely, on time, or to satisfaction
- Payments will be made or received
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trabahanap and its owners/operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or personal injury/property damage arising from use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Iloilo City, and if necessary, to arbitration under the rules of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI).
